Trinity Full Gospel Ministries Association Statement of Faith
2nd
Timothy 3:16-17
"All scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching,
rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the
man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Members
of Trinity Full Gospel Ministries Association believe that we are:
Saved (Romans 1:17) ... by
Grace (Galatians 3:11) ... thru
Faith (Hebrews 10:39) ... in
Christ. We believe that Christ's life and sacrifice
during His First Coming is described in detail within: Matthew,
what Christ Said ...
Mark, what Christ Did
... Luke, reveals Christ the Man
... John, reveals Christ the Son.

I - God: We believe in the
one true, holy and living God, Eternal Spirit, who is Creator, Sovereign
and Preserver of all things visible and invisible. He is infinite
in power, wisdom, justice, goodness and love, and rules with gracious
regard for the well-being and salvation of mankind, to the glory
of his name. We believe the one God reveals himself as the Trinity:
Father, Son and Holy Spirit, distinct but inseparable, eternally
one in essence and power.
Article
II - Jesus Christ: We
believe in Jesus Christ, truly God and truly man, in whom the divine
and human natures are perfectly and inseparably united. He is the
eternal Word made flesh, the only begotten Son of the Father, born
of the Virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit. As ministering
Servant, he lived, suffered and died on the cross. He was buried,
rose from the dead and ascended into heaven to be with the Father,
and one day shall return. He is eternal Savior and Mediator, who
intercedes for us on our behalf.
Article
III - The Holy Spirit: We
believe in the Holy Spirit who proceeds from and is one in being
with the Father and the Son. He convinces the world of sin, of righteousness
and of judgment. He leads mankind through faithful response to the
gospel into the fellowship of the Church. He comforts, sustains
and empowers the faithful and guides them into all truth.
Article
IV - The Holy Bible: We
believe the Holy Bible, Old and New Testaments, is the Word of God
and reveals what is necessary for our salvation. It is to be received
through the Holy Spirit as the true rule and guide for faith and
practice.
Article
V - Good Works: We believe
good works are the necessary fruits of faith and follow regeneration
but they do not have the virtue to remove our sins or to avert divine
judgment. We believe good works, pleasing and acceptable to God
in Christ, spring from a true and living faith, for through and
by them faith is made evident.
Article
VI - The Concept of Grace:
We believe that the Church, the Body of Believers, is to live under
the gift of grace and behave as described in the book of Acts, through
Revelation 1-3. More specifically, the seven letters from Christ
to the seven Churches in what is now Eastern Turkey provide detailed
and specific guidance (Revelation 2 and 3) as to how Christ expects
the Church to operate until He comes back for them at the Rapture.
Article
VII - The Rapture: We believe
that the time of the Rapture is known as the Doctrine of Imminence
... only the Father knows the time when He will tell His Son to
go get His Bride (Mark 13:32,33). And even though Christ did not
know the time nor the hour of His return, He did warn that he would
be coming for His Bride in the twinkling of an eye (Matthew 24:44;
25:13; 1st Corinthians 15:51,52).
Article
VIII - The Ancient Jewish Wedding:
All through the Gospels, Jesus relied on the ancient Jewish wedding
pattern for many of his parables (Cf. Matthew 22:1-14, 25:1-13,
John 14). Therefore, we believe that a working knowledge of each
event that occurs during the ancient Jewish wedding process should
be a prerequisite to understanding the overall plan of redemption
developed within all 66 books of the bible.
Article
IX - The Book of Revelation:
We believe in the importance of studying and understanding the Book
of Revelation. As with any text book, we believe that the answers
to questions regarding God's relationship to His creation ultimately
can be found in the back of the book! Specifically, when the "Fullness
of the Gentiles" period is complete (Romans 11:25), and Christ
has come for His Church at the Rapture, Christ, the Jewish King
of Kings, will marry a Gentile Bride, His Church. The love story
in the book of Ruth foretells of the love story between Christ and
His Gentile Bride, which is why we place such a great emphasis on
having a working understanding of the ancient Jewish wedding.
Article
X - Our Purpose as an Association:
Because of the importance that we place on having a working knowledge
of the Old Testament in general, and the book of Revelation in particular,
we believe that the mission within our Association should be: "to
ensure that Bishops who desire to become part of our effort must
be faithful to all the scriptures, from Genesis 1:1 thru Revelation
22:21, as discerned from the Greek Septuagint LXX (Old Testament),
and from the Greek and Hebrew Manuscripts that led to the compilation
of the 1611 King James Bible."
